The duo reunite to breathe life into H.H. Holmes. Leonardo DiCaprio is set to play prolific 19th century serial killer Dr. H.H. Holmes in a movie directed by long-time collaborator Martin Scorsese. To be based upon Erik Larson’s 2003 non-fiction book The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic and Madness at the Fair That Changed America, which DiCaprio bought the rights to way back in 2010, the film will be produced by Paramount after a long, strung-out bidding war with Twentieth Century Fox and Universal. The project, which will be DiCaprio and Scorsese’s sixth together, is set to be scripted by Captain Phillips screenwriter Billy Ray. Source: GUARDIAN
